Job Objective: To work as patient coordinator ensuring total quality service in every aspect through proper communication and coordination with relevant stakeholders inside the hospital.

Scope of Job:
*
To attend and ensure proper care of patients referred by Community Physicians and Corporate Houses at the initial point of entry in the hospital, in hassle free manner.
*
Have a good concept about the overall health facilities of Apollo Hospitals Dhaka to brief and give guideline to patients about necessary services required with regard to Consultants, Billing, Pharmacy, Admission, OPD, Diagnostics & Imaging, critical care services in ICU & CCU, Emergency, health screening services in MHC clinic, etc.

Arrange appointments for OPD consultation and/or diagnosis of the walk-in referral or corporate patients and also assist in the admission of these patients as required.
*
Keep close communication with the referral point appraising them about patient's condition and progress.
*
Submitting daily report on number of patients attended with patient details and follow-up.
*
Keep separate data about referral patients and maintain routine follow-up with them to increase conversion rate from outpatient visit to admission.
*
Keep good liaison with each clinical specialty department and relevant account manager in direct sales and corporate marketing.
*
Time based field visit to appraise and meet Referral Physicians and Corporate Houses.
*
Location and Reporting: Apollo Hospitals Dhaka; reporting to Business Development Department.
Educational Requirements:

Masters in Business Administration with major in marketing or Masters in any science discipline with experience in health care service marketing. Educational requirements may be relaxed for business graduates having relevant experience.

Strong ability to communicate and mix with people; strong interpersonal communication to ensure good interdepartmental coordination for carrying out proper and timely services to the patient.

A self starter with multi-tasking ability, who can work independently with minimum supervision.

Hard worker with pleasant and friendly attitude with willingness to attend more than one patient at a time.
*
Highly motivated and result oriented to provide patient care service even in holidays or after office hours, if needed.
*
Excellent command on spoken and written English.
*
Good computer knowledge (Ms Word, Excel, Internet) and report writing ability.
*
Must work well under pressure for ensuring the smooth and efficient service to the patient.
